robert naumoski
Instructor of the Bexley Dojo.
Started training Martial Arts in 1987 in Ninjutsu and in 1994 received a Black Belt.
Whilst I was training in the gym the owner called me to train some grappling down stairs in the basement. He wore a Blue belt and showed me the moves that are involved in BJJ, then and there I was hooked and needed to learn this phenomenal art.
I Started training at the local gym every Saturday for a year until a saw a add in Blitz about Australia’s first BJJ Black Belt living and training in Australia.
There I met Paulo I knew I found my instructor for BJJ. I really enjoy his teaching style, he showed us that BJJ is more that just a Martial Art but a Life Style, where we are more that just learning techniques we are part of a big family.
This inspired me to open up a affiliate school where more people can benefit just as I have from BJJ.
With Paulo’s guidance opened up first in Rockdale then we outgrew that gym, then went to Carlton were we outgrew that gym and recently opened up in Bexley with 200square metres of matt area.
Our mission in Bexley is to bring out the best in every student beyond their expectations and their potential.
We aspire to teach BJJ as inspired by Paulo, both the techniques and principals that go together to make up the ROOTS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tradition.
Robert Naumoskis fight record:

- 4 x Pan Pacific Champion
